World Class Tennis Academy is one of Australia's most respected tennis academies, operating across multiple venues in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Founded in 2009 and led by head coach Simon Batoni, WCTA has built a reputation for expert, structured coaching in a thriving tennis community.

meet the Coach

Simon Batoni is the founder, head coach, and driving force behind World Class Tennis Academy. With over 30 years of coaching experience at a global level, Simon has built a career defined by a deep passion for the game and an unwavering commitment to developing players at every level, in every corner of the world.

Simon holds the Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach qualification (TCA, TA, TCAV) and the prestigious Italian Tennis Professional qualification, Maestro Secondo Grado (FIT/ITF), one of the highest coaching certifications in European tennis. As a player, Simon competed on both the European and Australian Satellite and Futures Tours.

Simon's coaching career has taken him across the world, training alongside some of the most respected names in the sport and working within elite international academies including Nick Bolletieri’s IMG Academy (USA) and Sánchez-Casal (Spain), amongst a myriad of others in Italy, Slovenia, and Austria.
